Its mission: to support and promote humanities and social sciences.
Established by historian Fernand Braudel in 1963, the Foundation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme (FMSH) supports research and dissemination of knowledge in the fields of humanities and social sciences.
A recognised public-interest organisation, the Foundation encourages innovative research and interdisciplinary dialogue, and facilitates the circulation of knowledge and scholars across the world.
Since sixty years the Foundation has built up an important network of national and international partners in order to promote globally humanities and social sciences.
